The British Army already has Crayford-supplied vehicles in use on the Falkland Islands, while in 2003 the South African Parachute Regiment took delivery of 100 Gecko special vehicles for anti-terrorist operations. The Gecko system is amphibious, fully air-droppable and helicopter extractable and has applications including offensive capability, rapid logistic support and troop transport.
