Established 40 years ago as vehicle design and conversion engineers, the Crayford Group of companies has grown to become Europe’s leading supplier of specialist off road transport and a major player in the design, development and supply of vehicles with many different industrial and commercial applications. These include forestry, flood and ice rescue, construction, agriculture, the armed forces, oil exploration and equipment for the disabled. Since the 1960s, Crayford has acted as international distributor for the Argorange of amphibious ATVs, which were manufactured at Ontario Drive & Gear’s factory in Canada. Crayford led ODG to develop their Argo 6 and 8 wheelrecreational ATV's for commercial and utility applications.

In 1996, our Special Vehicles division has handled international distribution of Norsjő Tracked Vehicles from Sweden, including an MoD contract to supply vehicles for explosive ordnance disposal by the RAF. We are currently supplying the South African Special Forces with 100 ‘Gecko’ air portable vehicle/trailer systems based on the Argo Centaur"

Crayford is now dealer for the advanced range ofCan-Am Quad ATV's in London and the home counties and, through our boat centre on the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands.

Since 1997, Crayford has acted as UK and European distributor for the revolutionary StealthHysucat, the rigid inflatable boat (RIB) with the hydrofoil system invented by Professor Hoppe of Stellenbosch University.
